At the open public meeting of the new Parish Council, Councillor (retired) Brian Hayes was presented with the Citizen of the Year Award.
Brian, who has now retired having served the people of Littleport so well for 20 years, was delighted to receive his certificate. He had already made a speech that touched many with its sincerity and it was obviously a very popular decision to award this tireless worker for others with Littleport Parish Council’s highest honour.
